27.2.- 1.3.23 IFSS World Championships

From Hamar (N) into the warmth of Asarna (S). Frostfree nights, in the daytime +6° C with strong winds. The trail was in a surprisingly good shape, even on day3. Our first start in MD 12 in a World Championship race. 10 dogs on day 1, following the rules. 8 dogs day 2 and 3. A very unfortunate race. First day, Sydney is in on the sled for about five kilometers, second day first Devil, later Rocket. The third day was quite a normal race day. By the way, it was something special to get the team over the finish line without any problem under such difficult conditions. The result: 2nd rank, Vice World Champion!
